While I appreciate it being nuts because it is Does ANYONE have a recommendation. I’m older and this may be my last vehicle. Going for. 20,000 miles service next week it’s a 2017

if it is factory that is most definitely covered under warranty. I would try to coat it in a high heat paint if possible or buy a stainless exhaust. I have a jan16 truck with 27600 miles.

Fluid film.
Wash the undercarriage as best you can. Spray underneath with fluid film. 4 cans should be enough. Let me get a picture of my buddies 2017 that lives in Iowa. They get a good amount of snow. Plus he has a ton of miles on his truck

I don't think this can be fixed at this point. Hopefully your warranty would cover a replacement part. And then you can do the fluid film on the new part to prevent it in the future.
