Hello all,

I have a 20’ TRD OR running on 285/75/16 BFG KO2’s and Method Race wheels 703 with 00mm offset. Held up with Bilstein 5100s, OME 887 coils, Deaver AAL, and HS 1/4 spacer plate on DS. Stock UCA’s. No CMC.

I am rubbing on the front bumper at a weird angle while turning. Could anyone give me advice on trimming the fender liner?

A pocket knife cuts through it pretty easily.

Yes. Utility knife cuts plastic easily. I just put bigger tires and wheels 285/70/17. Got to upgrade my pic and info on this site. Had to CMC, Pinch Weld bend and seal. Cut inner wheelwell plastic. I still have to cut a little more of plastic on back.

Is that with no lift?

Advice: start trimming.

In all seriousness, just trim an inch or so off that angle. Or, you can trim the bumper and inner liner and relocate the little attachment piece forward a bit to keep things snug.

As a guy that only recently got used to carving up my vehicles in the last few years, you just have to dive in, think about how to make it work, and remember that the pieces you're trimming are easy to replace if you goof.

Old Jeeper proverb: to determine how hard to you hit a truck part with a hammer, check the price in the parts catalog. I think it works for the trimming side of things too.

Thank you for the advice!

You should be able to use a heatgun to mold it back a little if you don't want to cut.
