I have looked for some time to not wast other's time but can't find a thread on just the rear shocks. My truck with all of the crap I like to have with me when camping is excessive to say the least. 6620 lbs with me and a full tank of gas. I have some pro comp shit shocks that started

pissing oil out of the seal with in a week. My question is with a 1000 lb swing in weight from no gear to full of shit what would be a good candidate for a shock to not suck on one end or the other. I have thought about a "heavy" shock and change them out for a light load shock as needed. (20 min job) also does anyone have compressed and extended numbers that worked for them. I have after market bump stops on already and do not want to cut the factory shock mounts off.

So many engineering flaws in this car. It mite take a full blown car fire to fix the things wrong with a turd gen Tacoma. Can't see me in this thing much longer.

Just saying I have one 600+lbs spring with the extra add leaf and run bilstein b110 and haven’t had any issues and gives me good flex. Hope things get better bro.
