Long story short, sounds like my pinion seal is going bad again for some reason. The truck is regeared and has been for over 20k miles. Had the rear diff rebuilt about 4-5k miles ago because a bearing gave out. Now it sounds like my pinion seal is going out. I’m assuming this because I can hear it squealing when I’m at low speeds and hitting the gas. Also I got under the truck and spun the drive shaft by hand and could hear it squeaking. I’ve read that I can replace it without taking the diff apart. Any input is appreciated.

I had the same problem, did you find an answer and why your seal got bad?
No. Not even sure if it’s the seal anymore either. I don’t have a leak really and the sound only happens somewhat rarely. Doesn’t really make sense to me lol. I changed fluid and didn’t see any weird particles either
