I'll probably end up with 33" tires, I have 35's right now on my jeep and know how complex it can be to get up to this size, most of the people I wheel with have 33's.

Being new to Tacomas, I was wondering who is running 33's (or metric equivalent) and what your suspension setup looks like to get a better idea what height I want, I prefer low COG builds but still want decent travel, side shots of your rig are a plus.

295/70/17 with ~2.5” lift.

Kinda sucks, but this is the best side shot I can find right now.

About how much lift do you have here? I’m guessing it’ll vary a bit based upon adjustability and weight
I never measured but I won a toytec adjustable Coilover and rear shock so I dont know how heavy the spring is and then I have an Dakars heavy duty leaf pack with add a leaf. It’s probably 2.5-3 inch lift that’s pretty much the standard

this looks great - I am also more accustomed to the Jeep and full-size truck world - so considering 33's or 34's is a bit of a bizzare thing for me but your truck looks great - I am running on my stock tires with an OME 3" and SPC's control arms - the 285 or 295 route is the way I am leaning - Have you re-geared? if not do you plan to? What drove the decision to 295 vs. 285's?
