Looking to improve towing experience with my 2022 Tacoma and want to understand the PC. Right now, under aggressive acceleration it gets a surge of power when the rpms reach a certain point. Is the purpose of the PC to eliminate the delay it getting that power? I am thinking that, when towing, having that power earlier in the rpm range would make for a better towing experience. Am I on the right track with this?

I ran one in my jeep and really liked it. I've been considering it for the Tacoma as well but haven't seen enough positive feedback on it to drop the $300

Pedal Commanders are a joke. Put that money towards a tune. Does so much more for the truck and makes it better to drive in every way.

For a little more pay for a good tune.

Pedal Commander only makes the truck think the pedal is being pressed harder/soft/slower/faster.

Tune can make those adjustments while also fine tuning the trucks map to optimize every area of how it runs.
