pretty new to offroading, I live in Knoxville and have always thought that windrock wasn't for beginners but now I'm hearing otherwise. Y'all have any suggestions for scenic trails I can start on? stock OR with 265/70/17s. was looking at trail 51 or p1/g1 maybe but idk what would be best for a weekend day trip. any info is appreciated!

I was just there last week. Plenty of stock friendly trails. Trail G2, G3, G5, G37, G40, on and on. There are a ton of trails that are not difficult at all. I hit most of the green trails at the park and had zero issues and I have a very mild lift and 265/70/17 KO2

I don't know if these links will work but the first one is G40 and the second G37. You can probably do them in 2WD.

Sorry if those links didn't work. A couple of still shots so you can see the terrain. G40 on top and G2 on the bottom. Nothing you won't be able to handle with ease stock.

this is super helpful, thank you so much! my buddies and I are doing a camping trip for his birthday and these trails look perfect to just cruise and chill on. Will definitely take some pics if we end up going this weekend.

As promised, here are some photos from the trip! Had a ton of fun with friends and ended up asking for suggestions on what route to take, lady behind the counter gave us a page with directions for a really nice easy route! Definitely suggest something like this for people checking out what their stock trucks can do.

for future reference, here’s the route that we took through the park. For this being my first time off-roading in a truck, this was a very easy route to follow, I kept it in 4 hi the whole time and didn’t need to air down or anything.

The difficult part came when we hit G50, which is a broken up gravel road with portions of pavement still intact. There was a point where I didn’t have enough clearance to get over a small ledge, but we stacked a few rocks to use as a ramp and went along our way fine. A couple miles after we turned back (didnt finish the entire route) and had no troubles on that part going back. I highly suggest this route if you’re just starting out. For my first time off-roading it’s definitely got me hooked on doing it every other weekend!
