Hello, I am a new owner to a 2021 Tacoma TRD Off Road. The first thing I wanted to upgrade on the stock truck was a full suspension lift kit to get started. I am looking at the old man emu lift kit, but am open to suggestions? Also looking at the CBI skid plates? Anyone have thoughts on these? I’m not sure how high of a lift to go as well? I previously had a 2001 trd, 6”inch lift, swapped out front axle IFS, with 35’s and a little more. I mainly used it for off-roading and rock crawling. I don’t think I will be going quite as extreme with the newer vehicle. I’m just not sure where to start? Suggestions?

From what I’ve read, the OME kits are pretty solid. Here’s a video with a lot of good info on a few kits:

I went with the Bilstein 6112, 5160 combo from a mechanic friend, who basically said the same as this guy did. pics to come.
