This website is the passion-project of a USMC veteran/mechanic, @Tyler. I created Tacoma3G.com to share my knowledge of this subject with others and to provide like-minded folks with a comfortable space to ask questions and create 'build threads' within our Tacoma Forums. Now, if the format of this website is confusing to navigate for you, or if you're interested in my full mission and T3G's history, check out the Help and About pages.
Yes, I installed the bumper and grille. The only issue I ran into was I installed the bumper first and it got in the way of the grille install. Stock bumper would have been an hour job for installation (not wiring, but installing). I am still installing lights in the outer holes of the bumper, so I am still in the wiring process.Did you put the grill on yourself any issue with the sensor thanks
Yeah, so far I like the grille, but it was somewhat of a pain to install (just not very good directions with the kit). Other than that I don't have any complaints with it.Welcome! I had a 300 industries grill for a bit as well. Nice looking truck

Yeah, it turned out good, but RCI needs to fix their parts packet. It was missing the required 3/8 lock nuts to assemble. It did not bother me since I had already purchased all stainless bolts, washers, and nuts. However, I could see it being a bad day for someone that was not expecting it and I have read that this is a normal item left out. I love the rack so far though. Now I just have to get my RTT mounted on it and my surf racks on the underside KB Voodoo bars to be set for the summer. Side Note: Truck Brigade was very helpful and made this purchase real easy. With the free shipping offer I got it cheaper than I could anywhere else. You all also had some of the quickest shipping I have ever seen. Thanks again.RCI Bed Rack is looking good!
I know I'm late here, but welcome to T3G! That all black Pro with that front bumper and bed setup is pure sexy. You've got a total party in the back with the surfboards under the tent!
Nothing wrong with slow builds. I think they are more rewarding than doing it all at once.Thanks. It is a work in progress, but it will definitely be a party that can lasts for days when I am done. Hope to put a shower to rinse down with and bike rack for my bike. Once weighted down I am going to start the lift and tires part of the build, but I think I will have to wait until next winter for that part of the build. Since I am doing all of the install work myself it come together a little slower than I would like, but I will get there.
Thanks it is a slow build process, but it will eventually get there.Man this is a clean black pro. love what youve done with it, love the front bumper. We have the same bedrack. had it over a year and its been great! welcome to the forum!
