I like the total tail kit for the wiring, but wasn’t a fan of all the bulbs. I ended up settling on stock tail/brake bulbs because they were brighter in daytime than the Meso red bulbs. Also I felt the Meso bulbs were too bright on low mode, and not brighter enough on brake mode. Whereas the stock bulbs are actually brighter in brake mode than the Mesos (slightly) and the tail is dimmer like it should be since it’s simply for people to see you at night.

I tried VLEDS 50-led red bulbs and they were good but again, not as bright on brake mode. So I went with incandescent brake bulbs and kept the Meso switchbacks. I wish the incandescents were instant on-off but you can’t win them all. I’m happy with it. I mostly boight the kit because I hated how the stock setup was with the half horseshoes for different purposes. So I wanted it for the functionality, not so much the led aspect since I felt stock was bright enough anyways. I do really like the switchbacks though. They are sharp.

If you zoom in you can see the right side is brighter. Left is VLEDS. I don’t have a comparison with the Mesos.

Here it is with the full 4 incandescents.
