Can I run 31s if I have stock suspension btw I have a 19 SR5. Currently have 265/75r/16

that should be close to a 31 inch tire as is, but you can google the tire to get its exact height, Any oversized tire other then what that model came with stock. then a lift would be a better option for you

This has got to be the most common type of first post in every Tacoma forum. I feel like 90% of first mods are lifts and bigger tires.

My first proper mod was sliders.

265/75r/16s are as big as you want to go with the stock height. That's what I was told and that is what I run.

You can fit 33’s if you go 255/85

check Tire Size Calc: Tire Size Calculator

265/70 16 is about 30.6"
265/75 16 is 31.6"
255/85 16 is 33"

I wouldn't go narrower than 265 on the stock wheels.

I ran 255/80/17 on my GX470 using 2017 4Runner wheels, they are 7” rims, no problems

I will change to 265/75/16 or 255/85/16 for my next tire.
