Manual transmission tune

There is no tuning of the transmission. It’s all engine tune and pedal response. There are 5 settings I was on setting 3 (medium) and with pulling a trailer I still felt like I had a dead pedal under 1200 rpm. I hate the lag/delay of the throttle. Had it retuned this past weekend to setting 5 (super spicy) and it’s definitely spicy. We will see how it does later this week pulling the trailer. I bought a manual to drive. #hawsa made a post a few years ago about buying the tuning software and doing his own tune. I kick myself for not making the investment and buying the software last October.

I pull an overland trailer a lot. I just had the OTT tune put in this weekend, for the same reasons. Poor throttle response. After explaining my situation the tuner put level 5 “supper spicy” in. Sounds like a similar situation.

So far in driving around town, I wouldn’t say it was a miracle, but definitely made a difference. Headed to WY and MT at the end of the week to do the WY BDR and give it a good test.
