Maintenance Reminder

Anyone use the maintenance reminder system, if so how? Haha I tried to put it in today because I had service done and it's popping up for it being due today. I'd rather it be done by mileage but it's requiring a date?

I use it. Just put the date some estimate in the future or like 10 years out then it won't matter.
