1️⃣ Getting Started...
Hello all, any Pro owners on here or those who have the jbl system and rear speaker, has anyone upgraded or just add an amp or what?, I feel like more could be done with an amp??? I'm no audio guru, wanted insight from the community

It already has a specified JBL amp for that system. Splicing a new one will not be fun and that's already probably all you're going to get out of the doors with the factory JBL speakers. Best bet would be to swap the speakers. I think the common swap is just the off the shelf JBL's + a Fosgate sub and the overall experience is much better but check on the other forum to confirm which ones.

IMO the JBL in these trucks sounds like you just took any standard car and put $50 Best Buy speakers in it. I generally don't like factory 'upgraded' audio. Still sounds so flat to me and was about the same quality as the stock truck with upgraded tweeters, just with a tiny amount of low end added. The speaker swap is supposed to make a big difference. I have run the off-the-shelf JBL's before, and they are way crispier and louder than the JBL's that come with these. Do the sub too though to keep it balanced.
