High output alternator?

Justamattd

1️⃣ Getting Started...
What the recommendations for high output alternator? It's a big amp thing that a battery won't fix. My mechanic won't usually install parts that aren't owm but maybe in this case if I tell him I won't expect him to warrenty it but it would be easier if he knows he can of course that would mean him profiting off that to begin with im sure but I will be asking Tuesday when he opens.. I need like a 200 amp alternator, I know I have to replace some cables and I have added a 4ga ground at the battery and kept the original (it's just an extra bolted to one of those threaded holes behind it..I guess alternator to battery wire but since I have independent fuses and 4ga wire to the amps 4ga to one and 8 gauge to the other with matching ground wires to the seatbelt bolt in the back. Do I need any other wires if I install a HO. alternator? I see some new ones on ebay with great reviews for just under 300$ does anyone have something you recommend? Any help appreciated I may choose to do the wires i may let a mechanic do the alternator. Thanks sorry I'm sure there's a thread but I'm not very good at searching things out I already tried with no luck.

A good 200A alternator should work fine. Just make sure your alternator-to-battery wire is beefy, and your grounds are solid. eBay ones with good reviews can be decent.
