Hey Tacoma owners looking to get one of these MTs which should I get?

1. Hankook Dynapro MT
2. Falken Wildpeak MT

Reviews, price, and looks. Toyo is just the name, Nitto doesn’t seem good, and BFG to much money like Toyo

Have you looked into Nitto ridge grapplers? or even Goodyear Duratracs? those are pretty good too. I currently have the Falken Wildpeaks in 285/75/16 on my stock OEM offroad wheels. I love them... snow/ice tested. Desert ran too upon initial purchase. 13k miles later and they are still GREAT!!!

I was going to get the ridge grapplers but the tread pattern looks to close and the shoulder/ side wall is not really aggressive the Nitto tires sidewall/ shoulder is almost flushed and that’s why I am staying away from them I have the Tera g2 right now and sad I bought them. I went into get Dura I had them on my 06 taco and they were AMAZING but discount was saying they would have to order them and why go that route just do those nittos

it all depends on what kind of off roading you will be doing. where do you live? that will also be taken into effect of tire quality. a hard compound tire will freeze and be super shitty during the winter.. are you concerned about road noise? what about price? mileage a factor? or nah? a lot of variables man. I say go with the falkens.. in other words.

I live in AZ coldest it gets here is maybe 32 at the dead of night on the coldest day of winter lol. But most of my off roading is hard dirt, soft dirt, and rocks. I like crawling but nothing crazy, then soft dirt and sand, hard dirt, rocks range from pebbles to softballs occasional mud and water. Road noise not super worried about I don’t want them screaming or lousier then my flowmaster lol and mileage as long as I get at least 40K. Price I am not trying to break the bank. The Falken MT are the cheapest well cheaper then then Hankook and I don’t like/ want BFG/ Toyo/ Nitto/ Pro comp

How many miles can one squeeze off a set of falken mt’s? as for road noise, how does it fair against other MT tires?

Road noise is not bad at all there is some howling but it’s not bad. But I have a flow master 40 or 44 plus a CAI lol min 40,000

Falken hands down had them on my 4runner great tires ! Wish I put them on my Tacoma instead of these goodyears:sick:
Thanks! I did get the falkens love them so far but really looking forward to the off road bite they will have trying them out this weekend
