(FEELER) Any intrest in a Base Station group buy?

Hey guys, trying to gauge interest in an exclusive T3G Base Station Group buy. This group buy would be for our new style racks that work with the cargo shelves. Percent off MSRP would be determined by the amount of people we can get to commit! Shipping would be included in price as well. Let me know what you all think. We are currently dealing with a broken laser so this wouldn't be able to officially start for a few weeks, let us know what you are interested in!

12" or 16" and Long Bed or Short Bed Base Stations
Extra Accessory Panels

Only picture we have of the new style rack is of CAD at this time. Our laser went down on Friday and we haven't been able to get our new prototype out yet sadly. We also only have a 2nd gen to take pictures on. Any local Idaho guys want a 25% off deal on a rack for us to get some 3rd gen pics?

It will look more like our Chevy racks with the 4 bolts holding the uprights to the bed rail pads instead of the 2 bolts like in our old design.

I'll have to do some testing to see if it'll be strong enough without the rack. The whole thing kind of works as a unit getting strength from other geometries and parts in the assembly. With the basket mounted to the rack, I'd feel comfortable loading it with 200-300lbs. With the basket mounted directly to the tracks in Tacoma, I'm not sure how strong it would be.

Are the old design racks on your website? I cant find them. I currently have a kbvoodoo mid height rack and am thinking of going to a full height rack or camper shell/top. Would like to check them out before I decide. Thanks

Yes, pictures of the old style rack are the ones on the website. We had a laser go down and haven't been able to build and photograph the new one yet.

Really the only difference is the bottom hole pattern. We moved from a 2 hole bolt pattern to a 4 hole bolt pattern to give us a little extra to grab on to when we installed the shelf. If you don't want the shelf, you'll never notice a difference between the two designs.

I like this idea, and this rack. My RCI is still really new though, but maybe I’ll swap it out
