Just had the honor of going through axle seal replacement, had a good shop do it as that job is beyond my resources. Included full rear brake replacement with OEM parts. The e-brake handle now pulls up to my ear and doesn't feel firm at all. Shop says it'll get better as auto-adjuster gets going and brakes settle in. BS? It wasn't like that when the truck was new with four miles on it, and brakes weren't settled in then either...
Thoughts?

I replaced my drums and had the same issue. Was told it would "auto adjust" over time... it did not. I had to manually adjust the drums on the back until I got a good feel from the brakes and handbrake. There is a rubber grommet on the back of the drums that allows you to put a screw driver through and adjust them. There are a bunch of videos out there showing you how to adjust it if you need it.
