Has anybody here gotten around the DCM? I`m sure ya`ll know the DCM is the Data Control Module. This little joker records everything you do in your truck, how you drive it, where you drive it, even if you fart to much, it records it. All that data is sent to third party data collectors and even your insurance company. It will affect your insurance rates if you totally suck as a driver.
There is away around this by pulling the fuse, but that kills a speaker and disables the remote start. Another option is from Auto House. They make a bypass harness to disable all the tracking and data collection and still keep the functions of the truck in tack.
