Crawling up Carizo

Went out in in my Yota hunting out in Carizo . There are some big deep canyons and great for off-roading. We found ourselves going down this very steep trail . Ultimately had to turn around because that trail ended . Came back up to that steep section . Started climbing and about 1/4 the way it was it started slipping. The terrain was pretty rough with deep ruts , shale and sand .

I had to back down , which was heart pumping . It's our only way out so I put it in crawl . I was blown away . It just crawled us right out of that canyon. This truck is amazing.

One question, what was the air pressure in your tires? Well two, what tires?

Wish we recorded it . Didn't even think about it until we got to the top. Not sure if I'll try that trail again .

Stock tires air pressure think 35-38, it's the 265s wranglers . I didn't air down .

Better keep Matt's number on hand. I've seen more folks stuck that don't air down than I can shake a stick at.
