Let’s see what the most common and rarest configurations are on T3G. This is the transmission portion of the configuration series of polls. I’m a bit of a nerd, so sometimes data is just nice to look at. Have fun.
I’m kind starting to geek out on the tech data and codes regarding 3rd Gen Tacoma’s as well as early model Toyota 4x4’s. Staying on topic I picked up a 6-Speed Manual about a year ago.

I love driving a manual transmission but my old knees don't like it on a daily driver. So I got the auto. I'm keeping the '89 4X4 pickup for that.

We've had two of each haha, 1st gen was an auto, 2nd gen was a stick, first 3rd gen was an auto and the current 3rd gen is a stick.

Can I touch your knob?

Seriously I'm hoping to get something to replace the stock deformed lumpy penis shaped thing in my truck soon. I want something with a little weight to it but not get too hot, and retain the factory boot... it seems like the guy on TW who makes custom ones with Delrin outer skins over stainless cores is the only good option, but the fucking things cost like $150... not sure I want it that bad.
