2020Taco

possibly a ghost :(
Continuing my build guys

I want to supercharge my yota with the best of the best And also have the most reputable shop to put it in along with some 4.88 nitro gears! Thanks for the feedback!

Hard to say on the charger. Of the 4 companies producing them none have been released or even given power numbers

I agree man
I’m leaning towards magnuson but any idea on release dates? I mean I have some saved up so it kinda falls into place me having to wait so I can save up more lol

None of them have given definitive dates unfortunately. Supposedly they all say they'll be released this year but who knows for certain.

@ROGUE may have more info on the offering from Harrop.

So right now we are awaiting the final revision for the Harrop. A few things are being worked on and changed . As of right now the actual sale dates for the SC units from magnuson or even harrop have yet to be disclosed. All we can say is soon..

After looking at all of them I think I’m going to go with URD once they release it

If you do SC, you better upgrade everything behind and under it, because factory drivetrains components will break.

For one thing SC'd motors have O-ring heads, forged pistons, rods and crank, the list is very long. Not sure about the Taco's 3.5 engine but I'm sure it's not SC rated.

I'm thinking because of your reply you have never had a SC'd "from the factory" vehicle. IMO your in for a bottomless money pit. I'd love to have a SC/turbo engine but only from the manufacturer and not aftermarket because nothing has a warranty. When it breaks; and it will, I hope you have DEEP pockets. I have never seen anyone install a SC/turbo and not continuously work on the vehicle. I would say pass but it's your decision. GL on your journey,

I’ve had a turbo from the factory and it did me well.

Never had a SC one though

Or installed aftermarket SC/turbo
But yea does sound like an endless money pit

Funny thing is, that’s what it is now lmao

Well I guess I can be everyone’s test dummy lmao
Thanks man

What kind of HP increase did you get and end cost?

Any pics available?

We will definitely need a test dummy and we look forward to your results. I can’t wait to finally see what a SC 3rd gen is like.

And what size gear are you running in your differential?

I believe OVTune's truck is still factory gearing for tune testing purposes.[/Quote]

Ok, yes I saw they were releasing one soon. I thought that was your truck.
