So I was watching Rob's video about cutting the exhaust for make room for a bigger spare and it got me wondering about re-positioning mine. My thought would be to have it vertically mounted in the bed on the driver side parallel with the mounted tires. Has anyone seen any mounting solutions for something like that (I can build something but I have no shame when it comes to stealing ideas from professionals if I'm just making something for myself.) Also, what concerns would you have about mounting that way? Theft is my first thought but that should be easy to address as long as I design with security in mind.

EDIT: Nevermind, Mad Mark's post already covered it. https://tacoma3g.com/threads/building-a-spare-mount.960/
