• Welcome to Tacoma3G.com, a free resource for 2016-2023 Toyota Tacoma owners!

This website is the passion-project of a USMC veteran/mechanic, @Tyler. I created Tacoma3G.com to share my knowledge of this subject with others and to provide like-minded folks with a comfortable space to ask questions and create 'build threads' within our Tacoma Forums. Now, if the format of this website is confusing to navigate for you, or if you're interested in my full mission and T3G's history, check out the Help and About pages.

I'm from NC, not too many trails in Eastern part of the state, some stuff on the OBX, looking at light houses and stuff. Uwharrie is pretty legit and somewhat right in the middle, and then theres some good stuff in the mountains out west. Brown mountain OHV park was a good time with some decent camping as well.
Ill meet up with NC peeps when i head back east!
Same here! when you head back?

Near Statesville

Well I'm in Burlington have a place down in Sneads Ferry there are a few Tacoma guys down in the Wilmington area and the Salty Turtle (or something like that) in Surf City holds a Tacoma meet every once in a while. One of the owners owns a Tacoma.

Im from The triangle NC id be happy to meet up with others to wheel, camp and otherwise have a good time.

As the weather cools down, anyone interested in meeting up and hitting some trails or doing some camping??

In previous years I'd head up twice a year but this year was canceled. We have friends in Asheville that own and operate Zillicoah beer near the river in Woodfin. I've known the two founders since we were in middle school and they brew some amazing craft beer. I'm not much of a beer drinker, but they have some tasty stuff and John, one of the founders is a gen 2 owner and keeps it in great shape :)

Hoping to get up there again next year. Would love to know the trails to hit.

I'll be back east coast in March. Stationed in Quantico, but most weekends will be home in Jacksonville, NC. Looking forward to linking up with some east coast taco's!

Old NC 105 - a good 4x4 road with camping.

I'm currently located in WA but I'm moving to the Greensboro area in the spring. Looking forward to exploring the state.

I grew up in Winston Salem. Uwharrie is about an hour south of you, and is a great place to bounce around if you have a lift (need a bit more ground clearance or a shorter wheelbase than a stock taco to get over the hundreds of erosion mounds throughout the system).

The outer banks are delightful, especially in the fall. Near Cape Hatteras, south of Ocracoke island, and north in the areas of Corrola and Duck you can drive on the beach.
