    2019 Cement TRD Off-Road Build Thread

    All emblems are blacked out including the grille emblem. Now I will be ordering the matte black grille bezel to replace the chrome one and the smoked sequential turn signals to finish off my daily driver/weekend warrior build.

    2019 Cement TRD Off-Road Build Thread

    Both sides of the truck are now good as new! My next mods are chrome deletion with black badge overlays, black plasti-dip on the chrome grille bezel, and replacing the front emblem with the original Japanese TEQ emblem. This is the look I'm kind of going for. This is @kingstoyota on IG:

    Thanks for the compliments! The paint was done at Joe Machen Collision East center which is the the Toyota Collision Center for Joe Machens Toyota. This is another reason it irritates me so badly.

    I would totally do that except this was a condition of my purchase of the truck at Joe Machen Toyota in Columbia so they are doing all of this free of charge. I told them that I wouldn't take the truck back until it matches perfectly.

    Oh I did already. I told them that I am not taking the truck back until it looks like nothing had ever happened to the truck. They were more than accommodating and will complete the work free of charge as well as giving me a free loaner until the job is done.

    I had the driver's door fixed and re-sprayed exactly two weeks ago. With that timeframe, I would think that the paint should be fully cured by now. I don't think any blending was done to the back door. It looks like they may have blended the door a little into the fender panel. Bottom line...

I just can't see spending $10k more for the TRD Pro when I'm going to be upgrading the suspension beyond the TRD Pro and for a lot less than the $10k difference between the trucks.
