Access Cab Thread?
They are 17x8 icon rebounds with a zero offset, 285/70r17s duratracs, you definitely need a lift and a good alignment to make them fit properly, I also chopped the cab mount because I cannot find anyone who can align the truck properly with enough caster. Since ACs seem to be the less chosen (especially in the higher trims like the ORs) can we post up some Access Cab builds or build ideas? Why you opted for the AC in the first place, and some of the things you might not like so much that you found out later on? I choose the AC for the bed length...- JCJ

What have you done to, or with, your Tacoma today?
Not today but over the past few weeks I’ve been getting some goodies I’ve been waiting on. My sliders a buddy made me and welded on. Also my bestop supertop was installed in that time frame. 700lb springs and the ecgs clamshell bushing just because I had the fronts off to do the springs. I...- JCJ

Sliders fabbed, powdered and welded on from my buddy Tim Sparr at Timbos Customs. Got the bestop on as well. Next my skids from RCI. Very happy with the way everything came out.- JCJ

Bestop super top 2
Went away from the grain and went with a bestop supertop 2 over a soft topper. It’s been on the truck a few weeks and it’s been great. Slider Cost Comparison
I would say to find someone local to see if they can make you a set. A friend of mine in Florida fabbed me up a set, powder coated, angled with kickout, welded on for $700 and they came out great!- JCJ

Lift is a king 2.5 with adjustable res and icon rtx leafs on option 2, tire set up are 285/70s and I did a pretty aggressive chop on the cab mount because there was rubbing. I can’t find anyone who can do an alignment. If you can find a good alignment tech, rubbing shouldn’t be an issue without...- JCJ

I encourage everyone to do it. I personally think detailers charge insane prices for ceramic. The product will cost you $100ish for a decent kit, then another $100 more for a polisher and some pads. It’s time consuming but easier than you would think. I’ve done more than a few personal vehicles...- JCJ

Yes, it’s next on the list. I’ll be contacting ECGS and seeing what’s available as far as getting diffs assembled, swapping them out, and sending my old ones back for a core return. I personally think 33s are doable without the regear, 35s the truck would be sluggish and would suffer in the mpg...- JCJ
