    camper shell vs RTT/ bedrack system

    I went with bedrack/tent setup but sometimes wished I had a shell to have more dry storage. My bed cover leaks so its not exactly dry storage, just more to prevent theft.

    I have the kbvoodoo mid height rack for tonneau. If youre gonna do some serious offroading I would maybe suggest the premium rack. I have the regular rack and it seems very sturdy and well built but If I were to do it again Id get the premium rack. According to the website, 40% thicker material

    All I have. Kbvoodoo for Long bed - mid height. Also have a sliding bed cover so I can still store stuff in the back! Pickup up a used smittybuilt for a good price so its a good start into the rtt world!

    Ammo reloading block - Who uses them?

    A lot of truck owners are gun lovers as well. Havent really seen this discussed so who uses reloading blocks? I like them because theyre convenient and keep everything organized.

    I like the way you think. I had to get it fixed at the shop and just let them replace the bumper. I went through insurance and paid my deductible. I twisted the rear end up and was told the frame had to be straightened out. I believed him because my tailgate barely closed on one side lol. LESSON...

    Ouch, live and learn. I tore my rear bumper off a few weeks after I got my taco. I got super lucky I didn't mess up the radar thing. I think those are $800 to replace

    Yeah I've heard a lot of good about them + being local is nice. Still on the fence between Bilsteins and Kings. Tough decision :/

    Do you think you will make brackets to mount lights behind the grill? I've seen some that hold 2 30" behind the pro grill which looks pretty nice.

    Actually I do have a question. I know the D-ring receiver isn't much and I plan on getting one soon but in the past I have just put the tow strap into the receiver and used the pin to hold it in place. Any harm in doing it this way? I figure the pin is pretty strong since it holds the receiver...

    There is a little thing under the center console to hold the key for your tailgate.

    What oil are you running and what intervals are you changing it at?

    I read on TW that someone had their oil analyzed at the 10k interval and it appeared okay. I'm just going to stick with the 10k interval as well unless someone can convince me otherwise.

    We all love our trucks, but what made you buy it in the first place?

    I had intended on getting something more outdoor friendly. Didn't even think of offroading, just thought a truck would be easier to camp with. Then I found out what people do with their tacos and it has been all downhill from there. Loving it though!
