    There’s a reputable shop in the Sacramento area called Stellar Built. You can look on the website to see the services they provide, but I believe they specialize on Toyota’s. I’m sure there’s plenty reputable shops closer to you though, maybe someone can chime in.

    Someone local was able to tune the truck. I put the 2.0 tune, 87 octane with improved throttle response. I have to give it some more time to “learn” the driving style, but initial impressions are good!

    The more aggressive your stance (wheels popping out from the fender), the more likely you’ll rub your cab mount when turning because it’ll increase your scrub radius. I’m currently running 33s with only a 1 inch lift. Went off-roading this past weekend and no rub under flex. No CMC as well. If...

    I think those are +25 offset for the off road rims. If adding the spacers, will be at -7 offset all together, which sounds pretty reasonable. Might be able to get away with no CMC as long as your alignment is spot on. Also, have you considered either 0.75in or 1in spacers instead of 1.25in?

    Hard to tell, but a lot of it has to do with the rims you’ll use. Seems like the sweet spot for rims is -10 to 10 offset, and you’ll have a higher chance of not rubbing. I believe the 1.25in spacers equates to -32 offset. CMC would definitely be a must with spacers and 33s. The CMC would...

    Was quite nerve racking but had a blast. The front skid did its job, and got a few scratches here/there, plus some trail brush. Otherwise, no real damage which I was super happy about. Will also need to consider more lift as well 😂

    Took my pavement princess to the Rubicon, well...at least the trail that leads to the REAL Rubicon. 😂 Only went about 2 miles until the rocks got too big for comfort. Guess I’ll be needing some armor before I try some more.

    Picked up a new toy this past weekend. Taco pulled it pretty damn good. Also, put in a 1 inch block in the rear to give it a bit of rake. Even though level, looking at it felt nose high, and it bugged the crap out of me. Hahaha

    4Runner TRD pro wheels have an offset that compliments the trucks wheel wells perfectly so that there’s a very good chance you’ll have minimal rubbing.     My wheels are the 4Runner TRD Pro wheels that everyone seems to be rockin. They’re 4mm offset I believe. mad far as the 15 in rims, not entirely sure about clearing the caliper.

    Just installed some front rear shocks and leaf pack this week. First time, and was easier than I had imagined, though I did leave the UCA stock. I hear that’s a PITA. Figured, what the hell. 🤷‍♂️

    agreed. Joined the military when I was young. Taught me a bunch of important life lessons, got to ride/fly in some awesome vehicles. Wouldn’t trade it for anything, except maybe a 3rd gen turbo or supercharger. Haha
