• Welcome to Tacoma3G.com, a free resource for 2016-2023 Toyota Tacoma owners!

This website is the passion-project of a USMC veteran/mechanic, @Tyler. I created Tacoma3G.com to share my knowledge of this subject with others and to provide like-minded folks with a comfortable space to ask questions and create 'build threads' within our Tacoma Forums. Now, if the format of this website is confusing to navigate for you, or if you're interested in my full mission and T3G's history, check out the Help and About pages.

What sort of leak? Near PCV

Hi All I have a 2017 Tacoma that just rolled over 100,000 KMs. I noticed a different sound at idle the other day and have been investigating that wasn’t the injector cleaning cycle (at least I don’t think). It is intermittent and will sometimes occur and sometimes not. I first cleaned my MAF...

Found a set of water rotopax with bed rail mounts for super cheap on my local forum and figured they'd be great for camping and storing extra water during the summer. Cleaned them up and re-painted and they look pretty good. I thought the bed rail mount would allow the tonneau cover to close...

A couple of updates. - Picked up a set of OEM SEMA Rims used for a good-deal. They had Duratrac's on them, but needed replacing. Back to AT3W in 265/70/17. - Painted the bumper caps with bedliner. The painted caps were getting dinged up with rocks. - Tinted the raptor lights. Thought the front...

Wanted WTB: TPMS (4) Canada or USA

Got a set of 4Runner Pro Wheels and didn't realize the 5th Gen 4Runner TPMS wouldn't work with the Tacoma. On the off chance someone has a set of 4 new 2017 comptaible TPMS, either shipped to Montana, 59917 or Alberta, Canada. Thanks.

    Colorado_Taco17 Build Thread

Dig this build. I like the idea of the yellow LEDs in the low beam housing! I currently have Amber Baja fogs, but sometimes it would be nice to not have to run them in snowy situations.

Wanted WTB: Rokblokz or Rek Gen Mudflaps

What exhaust do you guys have installed? If any?

I have a Borla 40665 Muffler and I dumped the tip over the rear axle. It seems like this is pretty similar to the muffler on the TRD Exhaust. The sound is really mild driving around town, but when passing or grinding up a hill at about 2,800 RPM its definitely there. That being said it is...

    Dent in Roof.

Grab a toilet plunger and give it a couple of yanks. Seriously. Then spray and polish with clear. Or consider a roof vinyl wrap!
