• Welcome to Tacoma3G.com, a free resource for 2016-2023 Toyota Tacoma owners!

This website is the passion-project of a USMC veteran/mechanic, @Tyler. I created Tacoma3G.com to share my knowledge of this subject with others and to provide like-minded folks with a comfortable space to ask questions and create 'build threads' within our Tacoma Forums. Now, if the format of this website is confusing to navigate for you, or if you're interested in my full mission and T3G's history, check out the Help and About pages.

Traded in a 4R for a PRO - I got what I thought was an insane trade-in value for the 4R and opted to reset the mileage since I was at 122k in barely 4yrs of ownership. I'll miss it, but I'm excited to be back in a Tacoma - it just suits me better, although I have zero bad to say about my 4R.

Looking forward to complaining about my AT and Camry engine with everyone here! 🍻

Welcome man. Get yourself OVTune soon and you'll limit that complaining you mentioned. 🤣🤣🤣

BTW do you have the tune? How hard is the installation?

I've had it on my truck for about 2 years. IMHO Toyota should just purchase the rights to the software and flash everyone's truck with it as a tsb. It is waaaaaaaay better than the factory crap programming.

Install isn't the hard part, getting your computer set up and ready to flash is the more difficult part.

Not much that I've found just yet outside windrock. There are some trails on the eastern side of the south holston lake, but other than being a little tight in places they are not challenging. Lots of places to pull off and camp, though, with one fun spot right n the water that needed more than a Ford Escape to get to :).
