• Welcome to Tacoma3G.com, a free resource for 2016-2023 Toyota Tacoma owners!

This website is the passion-project of a USMC veteran/mechanic, @Tyler. I created Tacoma3G.com to share my knowledge of this subject with others and to provide like-minded folks with a comfortable space to ask questions and create 'build threads' within our Tacoma Forums. Now, if the format of this website is confusing to navigate for you, or if you're interested in my full mission and T3G's history, check out the Help and About pages.

New guy here. From N. MS. New to Tacoma’s. Came from a Ram 2500 megacab (which is crazy; adjusting to the size difference) but I wanted something reliable. Picked up this 2020 trd or on Saturday !

Hello and welcome to Tacoma3g!

I came from a full size as well, it definitely takes some getting used to. Nice truck, congrats!

Welcome and congrats on the new truck. Were you having problems with the Ram? Any plans for the Tacoma?

I was having suspension issues, needed a whole need front end. Everything was worn out. Also having issues with the 68rfe. loved the truck but it didn’t love me. The motor I never had a problem with. Having a new truck with no problems to fix is nice!

That sucks. It’s a shame such a popular truck could still be known to have so many issues.
