• Welcome to Tacoma3G.com, a free resource for 2016-2023 Toyota Tacoma owners!

This website is the passion-project of a USMC veteran/mechanic, @Tyler. I created Tacoma3G.com to share my knowledge of this subject with others and to provide like-minded folks with a comfortable space to ask questions and create 'build threads' within our Tacoma Forums. Now, if the format of this website is confusing to navigate for you, or if you're interested in my full mission and T3G's history, check out the Help and About pages.

Everything absolutely stock from dealer wish I had the money to upgrade.
Have a baby on the way and upgrades are at a stand still. And most likely won’t happen. Love the community, glad to be apart of it and see some beautiful rigs that I wish I could have. Thanks guys ??

Have had the rig since December/January. Did install some Clazzio leather seat covers to keep the pups hair off the interior.
Shopping around for a shell soon or thinking about selling due to baby coming. But we love it

Welcome to the forum (or not being a lurker anymore at least).

You can’t sell because your future daughter wants to grow up with a cool dad and cool dads don’t drive cars they drive overland rigs.

Sell your Corolla and get a shell so you can haul your baby supplies and go camping with the family.

You've got the best mod you can have with any truck. (Referencing the pup) You can't beat a good co-pilot.

Congrats on the baby!

Nothing wrong with a stock taco! They are incredibly capable and awesome from the factory floor.

Welcome to T3G!! ??

Been lurking for awhile. Just to nervous to post a stock boy with all the built up beauties. Thanks for the support

Screw it man. No judgements here. Enjoy the nice truck. ?

truck looks sweet already bro! The truck is a great vehicle for a baby...dont sell it. ive got 3 kids so I speak from experience. plus who knows, you might get a raise or promotion and be able to mod this bad boy.

Well there is nothing wrong with an almost stock Tacoma, like everyone else said.

Use it for what you do and upgrade to your liking when you can. I have 2 and 1 on the way so I feel your pain. I mod when I can and take the oldest out on the trail and he loves it. It’s a family experience, the kids will never forget the memories!

I think your truck looks great! In time ya can always do mods when possible. Are your wheels stock? Looks great in your pics!

Thanks man. The plan for now is to slowly add to it

Hopefully a bed cap and upgrade the suspension a little.

Look at that gentleman. Had a few extra dollars. Got a “mod” looking like freedom to me.

Just keep in mind if you ever sell it, not many cars you'll get into will hold it's value better than a Tacoma. It's a great vehicle, I have a little one and upgraded from a 2010 regular cab to a 4 door for my 18 month old, (at the time 14 months). They are great vehicles, it will get a bit tight with a non infant / rear facing child seat but it's totally doable. We may have another but by the time he/she comes #1 will be forward facing.... Sorry for derailing with baby talk lol. DON'T Trade it in!!! You gotta be happy too!
