• Welcome to Tacoma3G.com, a free resource for 2016-2023 Toyota Tacoma owners!

This website is the passion-project of a USMC veteran/mechanic, @Tyler. I created Tacoma3G.com to share my knowledge of this subject with others and to provide like-minded folks with a comfortable space to ask questions and create 'build threads' within our Tacoma Forums. Now, if the format of this website is confusing to navigate for you, or if you're interested in my full mission and T3G's history, check out the Help and About pages.

Hey Everyone,

Just would like to introduce myself and tell you what is coming in the near future in the world of TOsoYOTA with my build.

So I am from Denver, CO where I am an Journeyman Electrician and have just recently started to make moves on building up my 2017 Tacoma Sport with a long bed. Just recently i have purchased rock sliders (rago fabrication) and even more recent, just picked up an Old Man Emu Lift from ToyTec which is here local in Denver. As of this weekend i plan on working with some close friends to get the lift on. Looking really forward to start rolling. I have also acquired different light bars (50" and 24") along with ditch lights as well as misc other lights.
So i have a quite a few parts and pieces that all just need to get installed. Super stoked like i said, to get underway.

Alright....i hope you have read this far, I am currently looking to organize a meet here in Denver. It would be a great opportunity to introduce the T3G community to a more nationwide setting. I would really like to gain more knowledge and insight to the possibilities of what the tacoma could be capable of, from people who know best.....you all; and even if you don't know too much, like myself, i would like for you to join as well so you too can benefit.

So if you are interested in helping organize a meet, as well and distributing this information to fellow outdoorsy people who share this interest, i urge you to get ahold of me so we can make it happen. Send me a message so we can get rolling.

Lastly, as the tacoma starts coming together, photos will go up so give me a follow so you can see.

Thanks Everyone.

@SAPR thanks! I absolutely love the tent. It’s super spacious for my girl and me plus our dogs. Nights that it’s brisk we stay super warm because the material locks in warmth and if we get too hot we just unzip windows. The bonus is that it sits low on with my rack too so climbing to set it up isn’t bad.

Are you looking to get one?

Welcome to T3G! I dig the longbed and I’m jealous of that sweet hoodscoop bling.

Even if it’s iust for show, i think it makes it look more mean.

I am, i'm deploying in here in less than 30 days so hoping to get that amongst some other things while i'm gone. I see Tepui just came out with a new low profile RTT so interested to hear the reviews on that. Look forward to reaching back out to you after you have had some time with it.

Have a good deployment brother! I understand your username more now.
Is this your first?

Yeah I did see that low pro. Very cool. I have had mine almost 2 years I think now. Well worth it. You won’t be disappointed

Awesome, thanks for the feedback! No man, this is my fourth deployment, and hopefully my last, but probably not haha.

Anytime man, we will catch up when you get back. Be safe out there but you know the whole routine. If you are in a spot with internet, I’ll be in contact and if there is anything you need, I can send a gift box.

Hey are some pictures from this weekend project.
•Put on @oldmanemu suspension lift (2.25”) which were Front coils along with new leaf springs in the rear and shocks as well.

When we installed the lift, I was damn close to my UCA’s so I added @spidertrax 1.25” wheel spacers on all 4 tires to give it a symmetrical look and help push me off the UCA’s.

The first picture is stock, followed by the lift
Enjoy
