It only took me about 2 weeks (that included a week and a half of waiting for the thing to arrive). Then it only took a day for the dongle key registration followed by 20 minutes to do the actual install.
How long it has taken others in the past is no longer relevant to you or any future...
Wow that sucks! First thing I would try is to have Headlight Revolution replace them under warranty for you. It could be some faulty waterproofing on their part.
If that doesn't work, don't get discouraged because I have used both HID and LEDs without any issues at all. In fact, the LEDs...
I remember seeing one guy take them out and cover them with sound deadening. He said it didn't effect things too much (that he noticed), but I'm not sure I'd want to try it or even recommend it personnaly.
Most boxes that I've seen either stop just under the vents, or they build it up in...
It's super easy to paint it yourself. Just need can of Rust-oleum Satin Paprika and a can of matte clear coat from Home Depot.
Nice shots of how well it matches here:

Takes 20 minutes...most of it is just letting the truck idle after you flash the ECU and then the TCU.
Since it so quick to do, many people (me included) will download the 87 tune, try it for a tank of gas, and then do the same with the 91 tune as soon as they fill it with 91+ octane. Then...
OO nice. That has comparable specs to the Sundown Audio SD3 I've been planning to buy so now I'm really interested to hear your opinion on this sub (once it's broken in and tuned of course). :)
Unfortunately, there is no way to do this in a "plug & play" way (yet)...not unless you want to buy an aftermarket tail light like the Winjet. But with this mod, it's way cheaper than an aftermarket tail light! If you have ever cut/splices any wires in the past, you know it's actually easy to...
I think I've done it all now (hologen, HID, and LED), but I'd have to agree with @RetroworksLighting about PIAA being a good halogen replacement. It is going to be super simple to replace, will make things a little brighter, and the color temp will be a little closer to white, but I'd be...
I have the tail lights from these guys and they are great! I did go with the higher cost LEDs they offer tho. I went with the middle option that cost $60 (the HP11 I believe). They are definitely brighter than the stock bulbs.
Whatever LED's you get for the tail lights, only get red LED's...
I can't comment on Sprint Booster, but I did have SSP and then the ECT "always on" mod before I went with OVTune and I can't recommend OVTune enough! It brings the truck alive and makes it fun to drive. I no longer feel like I'm fighting the dang trasnmission (especially on the freeway above...
