2" up front with 1" rear block is what the OEM TRD lift consists of.
1" up front without a lift in the rear will level your Taco perfectly.
Best bang for buck are the Bilstein 5100's up front with stock coils (as per Bilstein recommendations).
Very happy with my 5100s set @ 2" max setting. Much bigger shocks than the OEM Off Road Blistein shocks. Stuck with the OEM coils as per Bilstein recommendation. No regrets.
A 6" lift will bring you soooo many problems. I wouldn't touch that with a ten foot poll, unless I was prepared to throw a whole bunch of money into it.
Good luck my friend.
Price difference is the reason. You can put better suspension on an Off Road for much , much, much cheaper than the price of the Pro.
Shocks, hood scoop & Leather are the only differences....
Damn, I so want a 33", but in a A/T, not a M/T. So far I could get a 255/80/17 Wildpeak A/T, but would need to purchase 17" rims.
Too bad they dont make them in a 255/85/16
Last week we got almost 20". I have no weight in the back, and she bucked like a wild horse to get going, but my Duratracs got me through anything I threw at them. Easy peasy! That much snow, and cars and some SUVs were going nowhere.
