This past weekend was fall break for me, so I had the opportunity to do a bit of solo camping and experiment with my set up. Normally when I go camping I just have a cheap pop up tent, which was ok until it began to fall apart. So I decided to try and see if I could just use the 10’x12’ tarp I...
Went and camped on the trail over the weekend, gf and I had a blast. It definitely gets a little hairy in some spots, but I got out with only a couple scrapes on the skid plate and my tow hitch. All in all as a bit of a beginner when it comes to off-roading, this trail is great for newbies to...
Planning to do a little offroading/camping trip at hurricane creek in North Carolina tomorrow, but I don't have anyone coming with me. I've never done the trail so just checking to see if anyone was gonna be out there so I'm not totally helpless if I get stuck lol. If you've been to the trail...
I have 17 inch rims with Falken WildPeak AT3W 265/70R17 tires and they fit fine, just about an inch bigger than stock tires. they've gone up in price since I last bought them but they're great tires imo.

for future reference, here’s the route that we took through the park. For this being my first time off-roading in a truck, this was a very easy route to follow, I kept it in 4 hi the whole time and didn’t need to air down or anything.
The difficult part came when we hit G50, which is a broken...
As promised, here are some photos from the trip! Had a ton of fun with friends and ended up asking for suggestions on what route to take, lady behind the counter gave us a page with directions for a really nice easy route! Definitely suggest something like this for people checking out what their...
this is super helpful, thank you so much! my buddies and I are doing a camping trip for his birthday and these trails look perfect to just cruise and chill on. Will definitely take some pics if we end up going this weekend.
pretty new to offroading, I live in Knoxville and have always thought that windrock wasn't for beginners but now I'm hearing otherwise. Y'all have any suggestions for scenic trails I can start on? stock OR with 265/70/17s. was looking at trail 51 or p1/g1 maybe but idk what would be best for a...
