• Welcome to Tacoma3G.com, a free resource for 2016-2023 Toyota Tacoma owners!

This website is the passion-project of a USMC veteran/mechanic, @Tyler. I created Tacoma3G.com to share my knowledge of this subject with others and to provide like-minded folks with a comfortable space to ask questions and create 'build threads' within our Tacoma Forums. Now, if the format of this website is confusing to navigate for you, or if you're interested in my full mission and T3G's history, check out the Help and About pages.

    Daily Driver/hunting/exploring build

A small addition today, it took over a week to get all the pieces together due to delays in UPS shipping. I've been messing around with APRS for a while now and figured out how to get a visual display of APRS transmitter locations on a phone. I'm using Backcountry Navigator Pro along with...

The IR lights are awesome. If you look above in this thread you can see the IR light pods mounted on the same behind the grill mount as the visible lights. I wired the switch in to one of the blank plates in the dash for an OEM looking install. In function they are great. I've done a decent...

    Full Aluminum Bed Rack Manufacturers

As pictured with the cargo tray and third top bar, $1490. The bed rack itself is $950 with the tonneau brackets, $825 without.

    Full Aluminum Bed Rack Manufacturers

I finally installed my bedrack and got pictures. Its a KB Voodoo/Max-modular aluminum tacomax 10" with tonneau brackets. The tonneau brackets and the piece that bolts to them are steel, everything else is aluminum. The bedrack is 10", plus 2" for the tonneau bracket and the cargo basket is...

Now for the bedrack. I wanted to make use of the space above the bed and keep the tonneau. I don't like the concept of a roof top tent because I'll typically set up camp and then go out driving around the area. Instead I went with a cargo basket that can hold water cans, luggage, gun cases...

I've been meaning to update this for a while, I installed the compressor a week ago and have been working on assembling a bed rack for a few weeks. Here's the compressor. It eats up most of the under-seat storage but I think that was worth the trade off. It looks really clean once installed...

Safariland QLS to RAM 1" Ball

This is a really cool solution, definitely going to keep an eye on this thread. I'm sure the RAM system can support a handgun but I'm not sure what size ball would work best. The Army uses one of the bigger sets to hold up a ruggedized tablet that is much heavier than a handgun.

    Full Aluminum Bed Rack Manufacturers

Not yet. Its currently assembled in my living room as I piece it together. I put on a KB Voodoo cargo tray and I'm shopping for a fire extinguisher mount and jerry can mount or two. I'm debating whether I want to mount recovery boards to the side as well. I went with the 10" rack because I...
