    You will not lock up the front axle. 2~ of height is generally safe for the cv angle. I would be cautious near 3" as the cv boot ribs would start to touch and possibly rub a hole into the boot.

    Would the 6inches be in the form of a drop bracket? I would still advise and recommend a set of upper control arms for alignment purposes. SPC 25470 would be the best budget friendly option, while utilizing a balljoint and being of a forged steel construction.
