• Welcome to Tacoma3G.com, a free resource for 2016-2023 Toyota Tacoma owners!

This website is the passion-project of a USMC veteran/mechanic, @Tyler. I created Tacoma3G.com to share my knowledge of this subject with others and to provide like-minded folks with a comfortable space to ask questions and create 'build threads' within our Tacoma Forums. Now, if the format of this website is confusing to navigate for you, or if you're interested in my full mission and T3G's history, check out the Help and About pages.

    BDS 4" Full Kit

I'm considering this kit with Fox front and rear shocks. The rear lift is provided by blocks instead of a new leaf pack. What are the thoughts on this? I don't have experience with it. My next concern is the height of the radar in the grille. Is it possible to recalibrate this? Do I need to...

Getting USB power to the back seat - 3rd gen DCSB

^ Yep, plan is to mount so it's tucked out of the way. Two teenagers and a 4 year old aren't the most cautious with anything, so I don't want them tearing it up/off/stepping on it if I don't mount it somewhere.

Getting USB power to the back seat - 3rd gen DCSB

Hey folks, I'm looking for a good solution to provide USB power to my back seat. We are heading out on vacation and will be driving about 10-12 hours there and the same coming home. I want to be able to provide power for three tablets for when the kids bored so I don't have to explain myself...

Best Overland RTT for the cost?

I searched all over and read lots of reviews, watched lots of YouTube videos and went with the Smittybilt Overlander. There is a YouTube channel called Wobbly Otter or something similar, she did a review at a year, two years, and I think another but I don't remember what the time frame was and...

    MacNobody's Adventure Build

I messaged Tacoma Pocalypse on Instagram and asked if they were doing sliders, their welds are strong and their shipping is way cheaper for the bed rack than any others, I will likely go with them again for sliders when they get moved into the new shop.

    Painting bed racks?

Yep, I went with Rustoleum primer and flat black

Sliders were definitely #1 before I do any off-roading but this mod was too easy to order and do immediately to get ready for springtime camping. I have been shopping for sliders that won't cost a lot for shipping, and those will go on before I tackle any trails.

    MacNobody's Adventure Build

I received my mid-height bars from Tacomapocalypse today. I was feeling a bit under the weather this morning ? so I stayed home. I got to feeling much better when the FedEx guy showed up, so I am installing these today. I had to run to Walmart to get some things first and saw this monstrosity...
