    Ginganeer’s Trip Reports

Trip report, late submission. What can I say, life happens! 3800 miles over two weeks last summer. Not a lot of off-road, more road trip with my daughters. Sacramento - Joshua Tree - West Texas - Inks Lake, TX - Sky Line Campground, NM - Petrified Forest (short stop) - Grand Canyon - Sacramento...

Gloves ..Do you use them..Off roading?

I don’t wear them for driving, but I love the MaxiFlex cut resistant gloves. I have always been a leather glove guy, but after wearing them at work I tossed a pair in the tool box. I have driven with them a few times, but it was incidental and not for the sole purpose of driving. Great for...

    4 Wheel Factory Bumper

Has anyone installed the 4WP rear bumper and added the tire swing out? Curious if you could fit a bicycle carrying rack that slips in the receiver with the swing out in the back.

    Ginganeer’s Trip Reports

Maiden voyage of the rig. Went up into Mendocino National Forrest for a couple nights. Some lessons learned, some sketchy impassible roads, but it was a great weekend! We went in from the North end of Clear Lake, starting up road M1. The broken rutted pavement was worse than actually being on...

    Ginganeer’s Build

I finally pulled the trigger on a switch pro. I can say it is freaking awesome to turn on the 12VDC to the truck bed and light off my electric blanket, from the comfort of my sleeping bag using blue tooth. I had a custom fuse/relay setup that I spent a few weekend wiring and it worked great...

Early welcome to the super-top-secret lounge for supporting members!

I like the idea of this lounge, and it is nice to have a place for parts selling/trading where your not worried about getting rolled in a Walmart parking lot. Makes me feel special, like the lounge at the airport with the beer vending machines…

    Radios

I recently joined the GMRS world, a step up from the CB I used for the last 10 years. Midland USA sells kits with two handhelds and a truck mounted unit. I opted for the MTX115 since it is small, but also supports repeaters (there are a few local to me that I can bounce off of) in an emergency...

How’s everyone holdin' up? T3G's therapeutic mental health and general chat thread.

Hey man, not 100% sure what your referencing… but I survived a “dear John” letter while I was deployed. DM me if you ever want to vent about anything. I think your right about pulling yourself up, but it doesn’t mean someone can’t hold the other end of the life ring.

How’s everyone holdin' up? T3G's therapeutic mental health and general chat thread.

I’m not really in to the hippie stuff, but has anyone tried meditating? I have used it to control migraines and anxiety and it works well. Everyone is in their own place, but exercise in the AM with meditating in the PM (with meds) works wonders for me. If I skip out for more than a few days I...

    Ginganeer’s Build

And I finally wired up the air compressor that has been bolted to the CBI mount for two months. I used the supplied wiring harness for the pressure control end, but with the E locker I omitted the wiring loom for the master, forward, aft switch setup (kept it if I ever want a front air locker…)...
