Wheel fitment

1️⃣ Getting Started...
Hi I have a 2023 off road tacoma. I’m looking to put kmc km236 tanks on it which are 17x9 -15 offset. I just want to know what I need to do to be able to fit them on my truck. I’m not planning on running anything over 33” tires. I don’t mind if I have to cut fender liner, I just don’t want to do a body mount chop or relocation. My truck is not lifted at the moment but planning on throwing a 3” lift.

If you run that wheel config with a 33, get ready to get an alignment that pushes your caster to the +4-degree range and get ready to do the CMC. It's not that big of a deal to do. The lift won't help the tires clear, which I know sounds backwards, but it's how it is. Also I wouldn't recommend too much of a lift in the suspension if not going LT, the uptravel will be maxed at ride height and it will ride like crap. Around 1.6-1.75" of lift is the sweet spot for keeping nice ride quality.

Might be able to get away without if you do skinny tires. but who wants those?
