2019 Toyota Tacoma Trd Offroad SB

Hello all. My name is Rick. I'm a dad to two boys (2 yrs; 9 mos), two dogs, and a husband to one wife lol. I'm a full-time registered nurse at Eisenhower Medical Center. I reside in the Coachella Valley. My family is always my priority. I don't have much money to spend on truck parts partly due to the fact that I bring the only income.
I'm looking forward to go camping more with my young family. I want to be able to do a little crawling also with group rides but nothing too crazy that require 35's and upgraded suspension. I'm hoping the community can help me out with my first investment aside from the truck itself. Probably the most I'll do are sliders, wheels R16, tires 33 or 34, lift, and bed rack with RTT. Any help towards cost effective brand recommendations are appreciated.

Welcome to T3G! I'm glad you only have one wife!

As far as cost effective RTTs go, I always recommend the Smittybilt Overlander tent. It is a fraction of a cost of the "real" brands and does the exact same job with the same quality of a fold out tent. The ladder isn't the best, but it won't matter. You'll save a lot of money going this route, and you can Amazon Prime it.
