So Toyota has 5000 of these in stock and I can get them in 1-2 days from my Toyota dealer at $249 (includes center caps).
They are for the 2022 4Runner but the parts counter says "Yep they fit!".

I will be putting them on my 2022 Sport DCSB 4x4 and installing 265/70/17 tires.
After trying to search 5 million comments on "will 265-70-17 tires fit with a 4 mm offset" ..............................
I have confidence in they will fit and not rub,...... hopefully.

Opinions from any owners that have been down this road would be appreciated.
I have heard "275-70-17's will fit but might rub" but MIGHT is an assumption and not what a experienced "owner" would say.

I want a fitting usable tire and wheel set up,,, not a road queen,..... thoughts?

Second decision is which tire..............
I have the KO2's on the Jeep and they are noisy and wear fast. So, it's between these two. Thanks for the thoughts!

Wheels will fit. Tires should fit (might need minor plastic trimming with a 275/70, but not a cab mount chop/welding, depending on alignment specs). Both tires you're considering are nicer than K02's IMO.

255/80/17 is known to be the largest size to fit without modification.
275/70/17 depends on how the tires are sized - spec from factory (32.2" vs 32.4"). Seems most rub while turning with factory setup (45* or more).
That's factory height on factory Sport wheels.
Also remember +4 about an inch further out from factory.
Have to consider when the wheel is further out, it could catch the cabin mount when turning.

At least do the pinch weld either way.

The Sport wheels are +30mm offset which is just under 1 1/4" (25 mm = 1")
With a 1" spacer the offset would be pretty much +5 mm compared to the Sema wheels at +4.

I have seen the setup work both ways (spacers on stock wheels or Sema +4 wheels)
The thing always mentioned is,....they will not rub with "factory alignment."

I know 265-70-17 will fit the stock wheels at +30.
Just as they will the Off Road with factory wheels +25.
 
You have to remember all these wheels/offset/tire size combos are right at the limit. Each Tacoma will slightly vary. Will come down to your weight, passenger weight, cargo weight, parts, spring stiffness and even gas can be the difference of a rub or not. There's 17x8.5et-6 with 285/70/17 with no rub until full lock turn with too much speed.

Check all the years. Select no rub. Factory height. Just base it off the wheel size, offset and tire size.

There's a handful of people running 17x9et -12 with 265/70 and 31"/10.5" - No rubbing. Maybe a light trim.

If it's a big concern, just go with @solscooter's suggestion.

255/80/17 with those wheels should be fine.

That is the biggest size you can go without a lift. Anything bigger you would need a lift.

What is even a rubbing anyway? Lol.
 
I have the same wheels, but with 35x10.50r17 Kenda Klevers. I had to do a CMC and smash my pinch weld. That offset really helped to minimize rubbing. Had I gone with something with more offset, I would have had to do a fair amount of trimming and make the CMC farther back towards the body mount. MAXXX on TW has the same setup, but without a lift.

You can't go wrong with the 4Runner Pro wheels.
