1️⃣ Getting Started...
Looking for some help on this problem: 2021 TRD Off Road 5' bed with BAKFlip tonneau cover. I'm in Canada at the moment and have the bed loaded with camping/fishing gear. Everytime I'm on gravel/dirt I get TONS of dust in the bed which covers everything. I have taped hard plastic door molding to the base of the tailgate (right side on photo) and also attached foam-backed adhesive tape to the end of the bed just beyonf the liner (left on photo). I have also taped the edges of the tailgate before driving on dirt/gravel, which obviously I remove and replace with fresh Gorilla tape whenever I need to open the tailgate. Nothing works.

Are you wanting to totally seal off the bed area? There are a couple holes in the side cubbies that allow for water to escape as well that can let a decent amount of dust in.

Thanks-I haven't seen the inside of the bed since I bought it and immediately put the bed cover on since its always been full of gear. Is this what you're referring to?

Cubby storage in bed over wheel well.

Went from a 2012 access cab prerunner to a 2015 4wd sport (both long beds). The access cab had the cubbies over the wheel well but the 2015 does not!...

No, the third gen doesn't come stock with the cubby above the wheel wells. But there are either 1 or 2 big ones behind the wheel wells depending on your year. I added the pre-2021 storage to my bedside. Long story short, they let a ton of dust in if you don't seal them up.

I live just out side of Carson City Nevada. So I know all about dust and dirt. I have a 2017 Yoda and a Tune M1 camper I can tell you that there is absolutely no way that you’re going to get rid of all the dust. It will find its way into your truck bed no matter what you do. However with that being said you can limit a lot of the dust by doing a few things.
