• Welcome to Tacoma3G.com, a free resource for 2016-2023 Toyota Tacoma owners!

This website is the passion-project of a USMC veteran/mechanic, @Tyler. I created Tacoma3G.com to share my knowledge of this subject with others and to provide like-minded folks with a comfortable space to ask questions and create 'build threads' within our Tacoma Forums. Now, if the format of this website is confusing to navigate for you, or if you're interested in my full mission and T3G's history, check out the Help and About pages.

Thanks for having me.

Hello and welcome to Tacoma3g!

Armor/ recovery gear is a great start. Some decent all terrains will get you pretty far. Lifts help well for clearance. Post updates once you get going on it!

Got the electronics mounts ordered.
Trying to decide what first.
Hidden winch and bumper probably first.
Small lift next so I make sure of my offset for wheels and tires.
Everyone's thoughts?
id always do suspension first. and you can never go too far. The reason why i say suspension is the added weight will already have something to hold it up when you decide to add a few hundred pounds to it.

Looks great! Love my DMM too. I definitely need some door sill protectors though. I already have a small dent smh

Installed the small lift this week and ordered the wheels and tires. Those will be put on next Friday.
I think my wife is just as excited as I am. She has been great help and loves the trails.
Got a trip planned to Cherokee National Forest fathers day weekend.

The Eibach improved the ride so much.

2"in the front and 1 inch blocks in

the back leveled it out.

Added the wheels and tires as well as the anytime camera option. The camera option is great. Gave me a front camera and the ability
to change from front to back at any time. Wife was being funny with the phone. Still have not decided if I am removing the lines in the camera yet!
What do you think?

Your truck is coming along nicely and is looking really clean. I like it. 👍

What tires did you end up going with ?
Sorry I haven't been on here for a while. I did the TOYO open Country AT3's.....
Did 6 or 7 trail rides and no complaints. 3 in land between the lakes 2 in east tn mountains and one in south central tn.
Not sure how well they will do in the mud.
32" Tall 275 wide

what company did you end up getting the anytime camera kit from? any issues out of it?
