Suspension lift queries

Obviously a lot of posts about suspension questions, etc... I'm doing research and would like some input from outside sources.

I can get a Bilstein 5100 kit (Specifically been looking at Alldog's kit) for $830 without UCA's/$1330 w/ UCA's. (https://www.alldogsoffroad.com/alld...it-w-bilstein-5100s-for-3rd-gen-toyota-tacoma)
I can get a Bilstein 6112/5160 kit (Also Alldog's) for $1350 without UCA's. (https://www.alldogsoffroad.com/bilstein-6112-5160-3rd-gen-tacoma-suspension-lift-kit-light-load)
Both of these kits I would be buying UCA's for to eliminate that issue ahead of time. Looking at roughly 3" front and 1.5" rear (both from add-a-leafs)

I have also been looking into other kits such as the Radflo coil-over kits that come with UCA's (https://www.alldogsoffroad.com/radflo-performance-extended-travel-lift-kit-tacoma-05-current), rough country 4" kit (prob not doing that one at all lol), Toytec Coilover kits (https://www.vividracing.com/-p-1526...qmztLXq3Z6il-3U7Ko00mmEDKDeDqVfxoCvYoQAvD_BwE), Icon coilover kit without add-a-leafs/UCA's (https://realtruck.com/p/icon-0-4-ad...k6IR1CiGugoPwv9daCAK-hD0kWNQQWAhoCdCQQAvD_BwE) etc... But they are all stretching my budget. The most I am wanting to spend on my suspension is around $2200 for everything.

Is the 5100 kit with UCA's gonna be my best bet with some to spare on other goodies? Or am I better off with a coilover kit and maxing my budget?
I'm only looking for 3.5" MAX front lift and to fit 33's, and the truck will not be rock crawling - only beach driving and occasional trails/moderate offroad. Any input would be awesome, I just want some input from people with the experience to either validate or invalidate my research.
 
i would go with coil overs it you want to achieve a higher lift. bilstein 6112s are nice but you will only get 2 inches roughly. you can switch out to a 650LB spring and squeeze out a extra .5 inch.

If your goal is just to fit the 33s, you’ll be more than fine with the 5100s. If you want some extra lift in the front (3-3.5” is on the higher side), you should choose the heavy spring option that they have. And regardless of what you end up going with, make sure you upgrade the UCAs at the same time. It will be worth it.

awesome!!! In your photo you said 5100 based lift, did you do 5100 and OME springs? I’m planning to get the Alldogs kit with their springs that are USA made and hoping to get 3” of lift, around where yours is sitting in the pic

Yes. 5100 shocks, OME 887 coils in the front, and Dakar HD leaf springs in the rear. And then the SPC upper control arms as well.

Anybody willing to help me settle my internal debate here lol... Really wanting a true 3-4" lift out of my money that will last for my moderate driving/offroading

Alldog's 5100 kit with heavy springs (equivalent to OME 888 iirc) and SPC UCA's (https://www.alldogsoffroad.com/alld...it-w-bilstein-5100s-for-3rd-gen-toyota-tacoma) for $1480 pre-assembled and shipped and possibly add minimal spacers to achieve the extra .5" I'd need to clear 33's comfortably?

OR Frankenstein kit I've pieced together that I can get for somewhere around $2100 shipped?

I know with coilover's I'll be able to squeeze a bit more lift out of it like I'm wanting to, but I don't know if the extra $600 is worth it vs the bilstein kit that is tried and true. Any input would be great... Ordering tonight if I can make up my mind

The front is level with the rear i was shocked when I first saw it, I'm pretty sure the front is about 3.5". The total cost was $700 not including install, definitely worth it.

and I actually finally bit the bullet and ordered my lift. Radflo 2.0 extended travel front coilovers, SPC UCAs, Alldogs AAL and Bilstein 5100 rear shocks

Have any issues with running? Any cutting needed to clear? I want to run 285s but I’m afraid of having to cut, I refuse to cut up a brand new truck lol
When I had that size I would get some rubbing while flexing, which is to be expected to some extent. Cab mount chop wasn’t needed.

Dang this is a great price. I am looking to do the same. You didn’t go with UCA’s or heavy leafs?
