Pre-Purchase Question Steering Wheel

Question for the group. If you were to replace your steering wheel with an aftermarket one that doesn’t have the function buttons, is there another way to activate those functions or are they simply gone?

That or get a head unit with a remote.

But even then you would lose out on the cluster info display so you don't be scrolling through that infotainment or whatever they call it.

I put the stinger head unit on also, I need to see if it had those features built in.

I don't think any aftermarket head units will have those features unless it's a custom one made specifically for that vehicle. Like those Chinese Android units. There would be too many toggles for each vehicle. Best to just set the color for the cluster screen and lighting features then swap out. If you already did and haven't noticed, then there's no issue. Lol.

There are some steering wheel options. Depends on what you're looking for. Just swaps out the frame.

Are you trying to remove the airbag and go full race? Detachable wheel? You'll need (2) 3 ohm resistors. I went this route on my tC.
