• Welcome to Tacoma3G.com, a free resource for 2016-2023 Toyota Tacoma owners!

This website is the passion-project of a USMC veteran/mechanic, @Tyler. I created Tacoma3G.com to share my knowledge of this subject with others and to provide like-minded folks with a comfortable space to ask questions and create 'build threads' within our Tacoma Forums. Now, if the format of this website is confusing to navigate for you, or if you're interested in my full mission and T3G's history, check out the Help and About pages.

Something you guys / gals haven't seen in a while..............

possibly a ghost :(
A totally bone stock, never been altered brand new truck! Yep..... today I officially joined the Tacoma Family. I'll have to admit I am going to miss the 2015 GTI that this truck replaces ( that car was stupid quick  ) but it'll be nice to have the functionality of a truck again. Got what I thought was a hell of a deal....so I pulled the trigger last Saturday. And I'll ask in advance for forgiveness for all the nubbie questions that I will surely post in the up coming week :p

Welcome from another VW transplant!!

Welcome, man! youre right she is very clean and i havent seen one in a while!

Welcome! Good looking truck, what are some of the mods you plan on doing?

This will probably see mostly street duty, but would love to do some mild off-roading...... nothing like what you have out West. Would love to do a difference rim/tire set up. Torn between staying with 16" rims , but the selection seems limited. Maybe 17", but also confusing , as it seems that offset is an issue especially with stock ride ht. I will say this, this truck is pretty damned level! 35" in front, 35.25" in the rear.
Don't really want to get into a lift yet....maybe 3 years down the road when I buy out from the lease. Been doing lot's of reading and research. Also fogs are on the short list. Pretty sure this is pre wired but there is no housing for them. Any suggestions are welcome.
