Hey everyone! I found out about this forum through IG after seeing all the dope builds. I bought my truck last June and it's stock for now. I've only done a few things to the interior like led bulb swaps and organizational stuff. The headlights are also LED. My plan is to pay it off within two years. I just wanted to dump a good chunk of money into paying it off asap. Once I make my last payment, I plan to order everything I need and get it all installed together. Below is a picture from a trip to Bishop for some camping and fly fishing a week after I got it. Looking forward to learning and chatting with everyone.

Welcome to the forum! I respect your plan to pay it off quickly and then start the fun. I often wonder how close I would be to paid off if I did that. I have no idea how much I have into it in mods, but it’s gotta be at least half of what I have left on payments, lol.

Lol. You've got a sweet build, man. Have you polled or asked around how much people generally spend once they get their trucks built out? I think by the time I'm done, I'll probably have about $20-25k in mods.

Thanks. Haven’t asked around or anything but I would estimate about the same.

Click the log out button and throw your password away if you want to make it to two years.... :sneaky: haha! Just kidding man!
We're glad you're here and welcome to the forum!

Well...the time has come. I wanted to wait to finish paying off my truck until I got any mods done. I just installed my suspension over the weekend and getting new tires in about a week or so. I went with Bilstein 5160/6112 and Icon AAL. I'm still waiting on my UCA's from OME...whenever that will happen. lol

You almost made it two years before any mods. That is some discipline. Nice work.
Haha. Thanks man. Technically, it was almost 2.5 years. I really want to get this thing paid off before doing anything else with it. Plus, I work so damn much I hardly get to take it out to have fun so it wasn't too difficult for me. Glad the build is finally under way. I'll have to do it all in stages.

Starting out strong. Nice mods. Any plans for LCA's. I'm undecided at this point. What's your next stage, tires?

It’s hard to tell but I assure you it’s there. Haha

Here’s a montage of the install in case anyone wants to kill a few minutes.

You can definitely tell. Would notice it even more next to another Tacoma.
Had 5100/887 on mine and it seems like a huge difference.

You can definitely tell on yours.
