Safariland "Snorkel" - Regrets?

I picked up a new, still in the box, Safariland snorkel a few weeks ago at a very good price. Does anyone regret installing theirs? Did anyone experience increased wind noise/road noise? It's a pretty big commitment to cut a massive hole in your fender.

I'd suggest reading the whole thread nickyreno had some valid points and that's why I never got one.
